President Elect

Nancy Fritz

I have been in the community as a REALTOR for 40+ years now. I have been active in grievance, professional standards and as of this year, trained in mediation in both local associations and at the National level. I have been lucky to give time to our local Downtown Development committee for 35+ years. I have been very active in our local board and enjoy serving on the different committees that they offer. I keep myself knowledgeable in my trade and I believe that education is needed to keep us abreast of all the changes in real estate today. I love my job and have devoted my life to giving people the American dream of “home ownership”. I would love to serve as your 2015 President Elect and help out in any way possible.  https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/images/cleardot.gif

The Lapeer and Upper Thumb Association of Realtors represent each of us in our daily business activity.  The Board of Directors is responsible for how the day-to-day activity impacts the members.  They are also responsible for setting the short and long term goals of the Association, how to meet those goals and how they impact each of us.  Board members must remain business neutral and work for the common good of all members and associate members.  I feel my prior experience with project management and long term planning is a valuable asset to the board and all members of the association.

I have been a resident of Lapeer since late 2003.  I began working in the field of real estate as a Property Manager at an upscale community in Auburn Hills, several years ago. In 2006, I became an unlicensed assistant and obtained my Real Estate license in 2007 to take on more responsibilities.  I also won the Lapeer and Upper Thumb Association of Realtor’s Rookie of the Year award in 2008, the Top Producer Award for Exit Realty Group 2008-2013 as well as the Top 100 Club 2010-2013.  I have been consistently among the Top 5 Exit Associates in Michigan in both Listings and Sales month after month and was awarded Top Producer for Gross Closed Commissions for Exit Realty Michigan 2009-2013.  I also served as Secretary on the LUTAR Board of Directors for 2010, as both Secretary and Treasurer for 2011, President Elect 2012, Board President 2013 and currently serve as the Past President. I was voted Realtor of the Year for 2011. I have also participated in a Habitat for Humanity build. I am a wife and mother of 2 young children and am active in my son and daughter’s schools.  I put 110% into everything I do and would therefore make an excellent choice for all your Real Estate needs.

I was first licensed as an salesperson in 1990 and was honored as the Rookie of the year. During the 90's I served on the Grievance Committee a few times and was a very active member of our local Board.  I continued my education and obtained my Associate Brokers license in 2001. In 2004 I took a leave from the real estate world and was elected to the Elba Township Board of Trustees and served as the township clerk until 2012. Now I am eager to get back to doing what I always loved to do: help people buy or sell properties.  I believe it is important to give back whether it be to your community or to your work place. I am willing to contribute my time and any talents I may have and will work hard if chosen to be a Member our our Board of Realtors.
